On Thursday, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals issued a ruling involving President Trump?s October 2019 proclamation denying visas to immigrants who did not have private health insurance and could not obtain it within 30 days.? The court held that this proclamation would result in a ban that would affect as many 375,000 people a year.? Immigrants could receive Medical and be allowed to remain, but those who planned to obtain healthcare under low-income Medicaid, or the Affordable Care Act would not be eligible.? If the Ninth?s Circuit?s Friday ruling becomes final, it would allow Trump?s order to take effect for the first time since the proclamation was blocked by a federal judge in December 2019.
